Happy New Year!!
Our next Aquarium Society of Winnipeg meeting is this coming Sunday, January 15th. This is going to be our Pizza Party and Giant Auction meeting. I don’t know who came up with the title, but it is catchy.
In previous years we had our Giant Auction in September, the first meeting after the summer break. It was suggested (thanks Spence) that we move it to January, as this is a month that we always had a hard time finding a speaker for. So we are going to give it a try.
So once again:

Sunday, January 15th , Theatre 100, St. Paul’s College, Uof M, 70 Dysart Rd. Doors open at 12:15pm
Meeting is open to the general public, but only current ASW members can sell.
At our February 19th meeting we will be having Frank Aguirre (Ontario). Frank will be talking to us about Altum’s. This should be an amazing talk as Frank’s passion is Angels. He is also the president of Acuaprof Inc, www.acuaprof.com .
March 18th meeting will be primer to the ASW Aquaria EXPO 2012/CAOAC Convention on Easter weekend April 6th-8th.
And talking about the EXPO, it is that time to beg for volunteers. We’ll need help the Wednesday (4th)evening/night to load the truck with the stands and lights. On Thursday(5th)help in the morning to unload the truck and setup the room, and during the rest of the day to complete the setup. Friday 6th, Saturday 7th we’ll need volunteers to be at the door (1-2hr shifts) . Sunday 8th, will be the Show Auction, so we’ll need runners and general helpers. So please think about helping out and send me an email. Go, go do it now!!
